Accomplishments for 2019
A list of items the board has completed so far this year:
- Months of review, scanning and editing old covenants and restrictions, by-laws to convert into a clean document for revitalizing
- 100’s of hours by all board members to perform the Marketable Records Revitalization ourselves, saving this association over $7,000+ from our attorney
- Establishing of Quickbooks Online to allow for ease of portability between future treasurers, which includes industry standard reporting to provide any accounting documentation needed for audits
- Treasurer from 2018 Nick Calabro assisted in setting up of this account, and as audit chair, has login to the books to review at any time
- Open-door policy for any homeowner to review the books, contact the treasurer for any questions you may have
- Establishment of accounts in Quickbooks for homeowners, invoices will now be generated and account receivables will be setup for each homeowner, with invoices being mailed and emailed if a valid email address is on file with the association
- Establishment of our neighborhood website, huntingtonestateshoa.org, which helps in communicating these accomplishments 🙂
- Monthly bank statements are posted to our secure board-member webpage to allow transparency for each transaction on the account
- Monthly road fund investment account statements are posted to our secure board-member webpage to allow transparency on the account
- Quarterly Profit/Loss comparisons are posted to our secure board-member webpage to allow transparency for performance of how we’re doing (we’ll probably add these to the homepage soon)
- The passing of a resolution on Estoppel fees
- The passing of guidelines for detached structures
- More to come from our annual meeting on Tuesday Nov. 12th
